The pictured board uses square cells
Despite the catalog title Hexa Block Puzzle, the supplied Level 1, 2 and 6 boards use a 4-by-4 square grid. Match the outlines of the available pieces to the empty cells; do not apply a six-sided-cell assumption based on the name.
Fit constraints before choosing a piece
Level 1 leaves a lower-left gap and one green L-shaped piece. Level 2 instead presents an empty board and several different shapes. Inspect corners and narrow gaps first, then compare which remaining shape can fill each one.
Blocked cells change the fit
Level 6 includes a gray fixed cell within the board. Treat it as occupied space when comparing outlines. RESET and HINT appear at the bottom, with a coin label by HINT; inspect the current confirmation before using currency.
